"Just wanted to thank you again for the awesome movement piece you did with our class yesterday! The kids were so engaged and clearly loved seeing the things they had been learning about during the year presented in this sort of interactive and creative format. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness in designing the piece and for spending your time with us. We would love to work with you again in the future if possible! Thanks again! "

The Third-Grade Adventure is an interactive movement story with a flexible structure that accommodates any number of topics from third-grade classrooms. Some of the topics incorporated in the past have been:
Geographical definitions
China
Native America
Rainforest Animals
Money Math
Simple Machines
Cursive Writing
Writing Grammar Checklist
50 States (names)
Cardinal and Intercardinal directions
Continents
Force and Motion/Push and Pull
Since customized themes can be plugged into the piece, a quick email exchange with teachers is helpful to gather relevant material.
Each child from the class will have an opportunity to participate. Also, the show can be done in the classroom (no matter how small), so no special space is required.
Appropriate for: 3rd grade
Time Segment: 1 hour (1 period)
Available: All year
*Virtual Performances of this story and others are available for streaming into classrooms and/or to remote student cohorts. Remote shows are one hour but can also be divided into two 30-minute sessions if preferred (Parts 1 & 2).
