"The Story of My Days" combines movement, poetry, and audience participation. It tells the story of a girl's activities through the days of the week, unfolding a light mystery with a surprise ending. It was inspired by a typical classroom's daily activity chart (days of the week, weather, phonics, etc...)
Each child from the class has an opportunity to come up and participate. Also, the show can be done in the classroom (no matter how small), so no special space is required.
Appropriate for: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade
Time Segment: 50 minutes (1 period)
Available: January through June (a popular choice for April because of National Poetry Month)
*Virtual Performances of this story and others are available for streaming into classrooms and/or to remote student cohorts. Remote shows are one hour but can also be divided into two 30-minute sessions if preferred (Parts 1 & 2).
