"The Neighborhood Game" celebrates places in our neighborhood and the people who work there. We will move our bodies to math concepts (addition/subtraction with 1-20, basic number patterns), science themes of animal and plant defenses, and act out a scene from a popular book.
Each child from the class has an opportunity to come up and participate. Also, the show can be done in the classroom (no matter how small), so no special space is required.
Appropriate for: Kindergarten and First Grade.
Time Segment: One Hour
Available: All year
*Virtual Performances of this story and others are available for streaming into classrooms and/or to remote student cohorts. Remote shows are one hour but can also be divided into two 30-minute sessions if preferred (Parts 1 & 2).
