DanceQuirks Movement Stories for the Classroom!
"An Autumn Story" is a movement presentation that tells the tale of a leaf, incorporating fact, fantasy, and poetry, while supporting the importance of embracing one another’s differences.
Each child from the class has an opportunity to come up and participate. Also, the show can be done in the classroom (no matter how small), so no special space is required.
Appropriate for: Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade
Time Segment: 45 minutes (1 period)
Available: October, November
*Virtual Performances of this story and others are available for streaming into classrooms and/or to remote student cohorts. Remote shows are one hour but can also be divided into two 30-minute sessions if preferred (Parts 1 & 2).
