Details about Curriculum Bullet Points and/or Curriculum Maps

Some teachers have forwarded me their Curriculum Maps, while others send me brief bullet points of what they are doing in their class.

Sending Curriculum Maps or Curriculum Bullet Points are particularly important when selecting the "Choose Your Theme(s)" session.

Please note that based on your topics, the "Choose Your Theme(s)" session would either be a story show or a workshop collage of movement activities.

The item below is cut and pasted from an email from a 5th grade teacher briefly describing an overview of her curriculum for the remainder of the school year. Based on the emailed info below (and a followup email), I was able to create the story, “Time Machine”:

So here are some topics we will be learning moving forward after testing is over:

Social Studies: Westward Expansion, Lewis and Clark, Gold Rush, etc. I also think the kids would really enjoy doing the Ancient Civilizations even though we have finished it.

Science: Simple Machines

Math: Averages, Coordinate Graphing, Rate

Writing: Narrative writing
